Dear Friends, we are excited to introduce to you our latest arrivals at HOH and to update you on the educational status of all of the children. Pictured are James and Jerame (brother and sister), Daisy Mea (with shoes and clothes) and Tessa Mae (in front of the quilt). All of them came to us in the first part of July. James is three years old, Jerame is nine. Daisy Mea is seven; Tessa Mae is eleven. They all come from very difficult family situations and were referred to HOH by social workers as they were struggling to even get a simple meal each day. Please pray for them in their adjustment to HOH as they have never lived in this type of environment. James and Jerame have a father but their mother died recently. The father loves them but with six children, he is not able to take care of all of them. Both parents of Daisy Mea died and she has been living with several different relatives but was not receiving the care needed. Tessa Mae has a mother but she remarried and the new husband is not receptive to her living with them.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support for our children. We are praying for more placements and wait for God’s timing to bring additional children into our family. We are also praying for more support as adding more kids obviously increases expenses. Donations can be made through The Sowers International at or by check to : The Sowers International, P.O. Box 2260, Orange, CA 92859.

Grateful for God’s goodness and faithfulness to us,

Jo Pabalate, Executive Director
